The Heart of Our Lord is Big Enough to Notice when a Single Sheep Goes Missing and HE spares no Effort at Recovering The Lost... Pope Francis
Hi, I am sharing my story of the lost sheep.
I baptized as a Catholic before I got married. My husband comes from a traditional Catholic family. For years I was a good Sunday Catholic. I memorized all the relevant prayers, learned the rituals and followed them faithfully.
One day in my midlife I noticed that everything I did was meaningless. I stopped going to church. There was a sense of frustration, furore within me. I looked for worldly stimulation and indulgences to satisfy the needs.
After a time this feeling did not go away. I was still in a labyrinth of emptiness.
Suddenly one Sunday morning I felt I must go to church. The call of the spirit of God started from that day and never ceases.
I know the that my faith was infantile and started my search for Christ and to know him. I studied the bible, attended workshops, did theology, meditation and retreats.
In the process I come to understand that to have a closer relationship with Jesus is not just head knowledge. I must
1. Pray unceasingly 2. Spent silent time with our Lord. Tell him about my desire to know him and do his will. 3. Attend Eucharistic celebration as often as possible.
Now through His grace and the power of the Holy Spirit, I found the joy of faith. I shall fervently thank God for finding me.
