The story that I wrote here, is not actually my story at all. It's a story that every Christian knows very well. Nevertheless the deep true and profound message of this story came to me in connection with  brother Deepak from Nepal. 

Deepak 

When I opened one day five months ago Couchsurfing website, I found there a message that touched my heart. Mrs. Shanti Gurung from Nepal wants to go to Europe to teach English language to raise funds for the Christian Church, which has been founded in this Hindu country  by her husband after he became a Christian. The Christian God heard hers husband Deepak, who although Deepak wasn't´t  a Christian, he asked our God by a  prayer for a son in a situation that seemed hopeless in human and medical view . What was impossible for humans at this moment, was possible for God,  we Christians trust in.  

Station of the Cross and Salvation of the Cross

  At the moment I started to correspond with Mrs. Shanti, I was finishing a project named "Via Dolorosa – Station of the Cross Project". This name spoke to hers husband Deepak, to a mission, which already might has been  somewhere deep in his heart before. Maybe it was God who activated this  desire. Brother Deepak found the name – Salvation of the Cross – for his Christian ministry in Nepal. I paid no attention to this at the beginning. I thought, this is some kind of pun, or just a misunderstanding. Why does he ask me, if the name of my project can be used for his ministry. Maybe I misread it. Only later I understood the depth of this phrase for people who have never heard about Christianity. 

My, Deepaks or Jesus story ? 

Hinduism professes more than 230 million gods and goddesses.  The hierarchy of gods  is so branched, that the highest ranked gods have any  interest in a creature like a man. Everything is predestined. Your fate, your profession, your position, your death and even the way, how you can liberate you out of the cycle.  And then is coming someone who says : The Christian God will love you no matter whatever you are. God, someone so great, almighty and unimaginable, that Job does not even knows, who God is, will stoop to a man. He will send the most valuable harbinger, he even has, to confront his love with a human licence and perversion. This interest of love  is till the last person among the people. In all of us. In you, in me. For each of us God has a unique plan to glory himself. Preaching about so much love  in a country, where a man can mean so little, is like giving water of life to people who really thirst. 

What  each of us has in his heart 

God gives to every heart that, what will show by an unique way Gods love and mercy. Brother Deepak wants to do his Christian ministry through Christian movies in the nepalian villages, where people don´t know television, internet or Christianity. He wants to spread the message in this way: Does it's in your lives sadness, hopelessness, violence, envy or resentment? It is a way how all this can be changed. This message and the ministry is the calling of his heart. And what does my heart call me for? My heart told me. I would like to support the ministry of this brother. In a way how a brother is helping brother, a Christian to a Christian. You have painted and drew everything, what touched me, your heart, for twenty years.  God gave you this gift, it is time to return it with interest. The Lord is coming  to ask what you did with the coins, which he gave you. Let sale all of that, we don´t need it any more. Maybe it will be for one small car for our brother to drive around the villages  in Nepal. Let's give it a sincere desire and prayer to God and maybe he will hear us.
